Model “J” In Costume:
A couple of days ago “J” modeled again. In the morning she posed for a life drawing session. In the evening she posed as a peasant woman in period dress and scarf.
Her poses in the morning were pretty much the same as she provided last Saturday at the drop in session. My drawings ended up being about the same too, so I haven’t included them. Above though are two drawings of “J” as a peasant. Having mostly drawn “J” nude, it was actually a nice change to draw her with something on.
Top: 18”x24” Sanguine and colored pencil on 80# paper: 1 hour pose
Bottom: 18”x24” Sanguine on 65# paper: 15 min. pose
It's funny that people are every bit as interesting in clothes as out of them :). But, true!
ReplyDeleteIt’s funny how little difference it makes now, too, being clothed or nude.
