I’m not sure why they are together by
themselves in this still life. I’m sure there are others who wanted to pose
with them. But here they are, by themselves, sort of in their own desert,
alone.
A jug can stand by itself as can the essential lemon. What's in the jug? Some nice whiskey and water? I have one just like it above my cupboard, rescued from my parent's root cellar. It's corked but empty.
I want to say a little, but not too much. I would like the drawings, painting and writing I post on this site to express what needs to be known about me.
I’ve been an architect for years, with drawing (other than for building projects) and painting and writing in the background, wanting more of my attention. A while ago I changed the priorities, spending more time now recording and expressing what I observe and what I am imagining or dreaming about. The drawings, paintings and words I post almost every day. I hope you enjoy my art and the dialogue. For comments or inquiries, feel free to contact me through my email address: tonyduce@comcast.net

ReplyDeleteYvonne: This jug was empty too. So often the case around here.
ReplyDeleteI agree, both are independent, trying to share.
