Model “D” Second Week
I did another painting of “D” in the same
pose she was in last week. The painting is from a slightly different vantage
point in the studio. She looks more like her, in today’s effort.

She looks resigned to her fate, that of being made immortal on the canvas. I like the slippers. Is she resting after a rehearsel?

Yvonne: She could be resting, almost twelve hours over the two weeks with breaks every once in a while.

erin: Thank you. The colors are everywhere though. they aren’t only mine. I only have three colors on my palette: red, blue and yellow. All my colors are mixed from these three, and some white on the side.
