Model "D" Second Week

Model “D” Second Week
I did another painting of “D” in the same pose she was in last week. The painting is from a slightly different vantage point in the studio. She looks more like her, in today’s effort.
16”x 20” Acrylic on canvas panel

  1. She looks resigned to her fate, that of being made immortal on the canvas. I like the slippers. Is she resting after a rehearsel?

  4. Yvonne: She could be resting, almost twelve hours over the two weeks with breaks every once in a while.

Lorraine: Thank you for the continued encouragement. She took her share of breaks, out of shear boredom.

erin: Thank you. The colors are everywhere though. they aren’t only mine. I only have three colors on my palette: red, blue and yellow. All my colors are mixed from these three, and some white on the side.
