Pitcher With Roses

Pitcher With Roses
I did this week's still life in pastel rather than the usual acrylics. The pitcher, I’ve painted many times before. It was featured in last week’s still life too.
The roses died just recently and were donated for the cause.
17”x 14” pastel on sanded 100# Bristol paper

    2. Thank you. I will have to do more of these in pastel. It is so much easier for me to do flowers in pastel.

    4. Let the flowers live. I feel bad about the few dead ones, as it is.

    5. I agree the second you take them from the earth you are slowly killing them. Let them be, I never buy flower or cut lilacs I just smell them along the way, what belongs to the ground should remain in the ground, and live forever.
