Reclaiming Destinations
Islands Off Solitude
This was started in the morning based on a sketch from a few weeks ago. It has a way to go.
There were moments this morning when my thoughts weren’t on the painting. I’d left the studio. I remember when it happened more often, when it was easier to escape, and just fly.
28”x 22” acrylic on stretched canvas

    1. I’d stay there too. Wish living in my art was really possible.
      Thank you

  2. This is so wonderfully calming...all that blue.
And those little islands in pure solitude, how I'd love to row out to them today!

    An outstanding painting.:)

I’d love to be in a boat exploring such a place too.

  4. and still I look again everyday, for I see the incredible light of a place that may look like ice but it's crystal and higher spiritual beings meet to discuss what we're doing and what they are allowed to do, I think this is my absolute favourite although I'm not sure how many times I've said this...so big bisous for you

    1. Thank you again.
I’m not sure this is finished. Some of the whites especially in the distance may go away.
