"C" This Evening

“C” This Evening
He visited again today. I did a similar sketch of him back in February using ink and watercolor. And then he posed in June, showing his legs again for a few watercolor sketches.
He looked a little thinner today, still playing the same role.
It was good to see him again..
11”x 14” ink and watercolor on 140# cold press

  1. Bonjour cher Anthony,

    Gros bisous

Have you painted him before? I mean like a few years ago? He looks familiar to me...

    1. Thank you.
I included a few links in this post to previous drawings and paintings of “C”. There are more from earlier years too, though I’m not sure they are still available on my blog.

  4. This is great! I love everything about this...the gorgeous vibrant colours, the way the suggestion of a background makes him stand out even more, and his lovely warm smile.

It’s amazing the power of a smile, even through a bushy beard.
