"P" Archeologist

“P” Archeologist
This morning with the Independent Painters Group “P” posed in his archeologist clothing. He actually does dig up bones and things. I sketched him doing so last February. Early this week I did some ink quickie sketches of him. Today it was nice to spend a whole session painting his portrait.
18”x 24” watercolor on cold press

  4. Excellent portrait! I like the glasses, the eyes behind, and the beard especially.

The glasses and beard did add to his pose.

  5. He does seem deep in thought...perhaps anticipating that really important find he has always dreamed of?
Must be truly amazing to be an archeologist...:)

    1. He had a lot of time to think in this pose of three hours. He did take a break from time to time.
His specialty is finding old bones☺
