Pages Filled With "D"

Pages Filled With “D”
She did so many short poses this morning. My sketches filled over four pages in such a short time. I liked these three the best, especially the first, where in one of the poses her smile is obviously for me.
All three: 24”x 18” charcoal on paper

  2. These drawings are wonderful - the designs, everything about them Usually there is one grouping that I might like better than others, but these are all great!

    1. Thank you
They were sort of like puzzles, not knowing what pose would come next and then where to place each on the page.

  4. She is a wonderful model, isn't she?
Yes...I like the first one best too...she appears so happy there.
In the others, her mood seems a little pensive...but that isn't to say I find them any less appealing.
Quite the contrary...they are all fabulous! :)

    1. “D” is one of the few models I draw from who actually will hold a smile through a pose, though obviously, not every time.. I did exaggerate her smile in the first. She was obviously smiling at me☺

  5. Poetry in Motion...it's delightful, of course models are going to smile at you, handsome man drawing you in the nude, in the first one she is flirtatious ....:)

More than likely she was flirting with someone new. I draw her all the time.
