This Morning "SH"

This Morning “SH”
This morning she posed for the Independent Painters Group. My attempt to painter her was with watercolors and a little pastel.
18”x 24” on cold press.

  1. Very enticing, the chair, or wrapped stone, languishing in her lovely green dress, that pastel: divine, her expression: I'm doing my best but just how long do I have to sit still ? She adds a negativity to the positively charming surroundings, I'd be curious so see it without her in it, because it all seems so unreal so magical

    1. Thank you
The background environment was sketched in within the few minutes of the pose, mostly to cover up areas I didn’t have time to finish. At that point I am guessing she was more comfortable than me.

  2. Very intense. Seems, she 's sitting not very comfortably...little scared....

    1. My sketch probably made her look more uncomfortable than she was.

  3. Oh I love everything about this...the coyness in her pose...an expression that seems to say, "I've learned to see through the half-truths, so approach me at your peril if you are simply on the make!"...and that green dress - has to be velvet, I think...
Your amazing talent has immortalized a stunning beauty...:)
