Classic, little shadows under her eyes, slightly tired, she keeps her pose
ReplyDeleteIf I had been doing the painting for “RO” rather than for accuracy, I would have reduced the shadows. She’s getting older too☺ She looks much younger in previous paintings I have done of her.
DeleteI have always found black to be a difficult colour to paint...but you have captured it's depth brilliantly.

For me, she is hosting a dinner party...and is awaiting the first guest's arrival...:)
Burnt Umber and aqua marine blue works okay.
