The Painter

The Painter
Some short sketches of “R” modeled as a painter yesterday afternoon. The acting in a couple of his poses was easy to relate too. He obviously is around artists a lot.
1st & 2nd: 12”x 18” watercolor and ink
3rd: 9”x 12” watercolor and ink

  1. Bonsoir cher Anthony,

    Gros bisous ♡

    1. He definitely acted out the part well. He enjoys making fun of us who paint him.
He was a little too must in costume to be me. I paint in old tee shirts and paint stained baggy jeans..
      Thank you

    1. I look at the old masters painting in jackets and ties. I wonder: maybe I need to change my image☺

  4. I see the conception, visualization, then creation of a masterpiece depicted here...a true artistic genius at work.
I wonder what he is painting...really wish I could see the finished canvas...:)

    1. He is definitely playing the part.. He wouldn’t commit to painting anything on the canvas.. the canvas was blank in the pose.
