Eve Listening to Voice of Adam

Eve Listening to Voice of Adam

One of the three sculptures I sketched this morning at the Victoria and Albert Museum. The sculptor was Edward Hodges Bailey. He completed it in 1842.
12”x 9” fountain pen and chalk on toned grey paper

    1. I didn’t even know she was Eve until after I sketched and took a look at the plaque.
