Anywhere

Anywhere

She could be anywhere. The surroundings lost to the world in the palm of her hand.
Sitting on the entrance steps to St. Paul’s Cathedral in London.
8”x 8” ink and watercolor

  1. Many people are anywhere but where they are. When she gets home she'll look at pictures and won't remember being there. I like the contrast between the figure in the foreground and those in the back. I like the words that characterize the scene.

    1. So much of my people watching while traveling revealed scenes like this. Of course I was viewing through the eyes of a tourist. Maybe she was just a local, on her lunch break?
      Thank you

    1. She may... I see so many though that can't seem to peal their eyes away from the screen.
      Thank you.
