Portrait of "P", the Next Morning

Portrait of “P”, the Next Morning

This morning I had a chance to do another quick portrait of “P”. He modeled for the drop in life drawing session I regularly attend.
9”x 12” fountain pen and pastel on toned grey paper

  1. Gruff and handsome, I've always enjoyed my man friend's look in the morning all gruffy and grumpy, I love everything you draw Anthony I'm going to delete as many photos as I can because my laptop is showing signs of crashing again...I'll keep a few to blog maybe sometimes I'll write or do poems, only because I can't stand the idea of losing all my friends that I've come to love and respect so much and never comment on a blog again, one day maybe I'll be able to find a computer that is made solely for photos and have huge storage...so I may not always put a photo but one way or the other i will visit ...

    1. Thank you
Your man friend’s are lucky to start their mornings feeling so appreciated..
I hope the laptop survives. Have you considered copying the photos onto CD’s or backing up on external hard drives, instead of storing on the laptop?

  2. Yes thank you for that, I have KingstonEDrive that has a 64g, and many many other sticks I've even copied the photos Of Fall I just put today, and i try to delete as many photos from Google and from mine because I have them all on sticks. Problem is If I want to add some previous material let's say 1200 copies well they'll copy that and then manage to get into other years and take 3,000 so i go in and delete and I'll keep on doing it..when they sell Picasa3 and Google for they will, then I'll see what I have to do, I know you copy your drawings, I'm very grateful for that :)

  3. Wonderfully expressive...he appears almost world-weary this morning though.
I think he may have reluctantly awoken from a blissful dream, to a much less appealing everyday consciousness! ;)

  4. Bonjour cher Anthony,

Vos dessins sont de plus en plus peaufinés... J'aime comme vous le savez les multitudes traits qui les composent.

    Gros bisous♡
