A Nap On the Shore

A Nap On the Shore

This is a sketch of one of the poses “B” provided this morning.
I imagined her in a place where I once napped too.
Islands off Solitude
24”x 18” pastel on colored charcoal paper.

    1. Of course you can. A few rocks, sand, maybe a tree or two, surrounded by water.

    2. No, because they would never be yours, the real ones, I wouldn't want them, it'll have to be some other thing....

  3. Vital sketch, looks like in 3D...minute, and she will turn and smile in sun...

    1. A little color gives the illusion of perspective. Maybe she’ll pose facing the sun, and me, the next time..

  4. Yep...would love to be there right now, instead of wrapped in my autumn woollies!
Even from the rear, I can see she is so relaxed and carefree lying there in the sun. See how the rays catch her back, buttocks, calves and soles of her feet...magnificent! :)

    1. We all wrapped up in our woolies too. We had a space heater for the model of course..
Our sun, a spotlight, made for a pretty good sun☺.
      Thank you.

  6. Bonjour cher Anthony,

J'ai la pause endormie de cette très jolie demoiselle. Elle semble si sereine. De la douceur qui fait du bien à admirer.
    Gros bisous ♡
