Place
“SR”
was the model yesterday. These sketches were from poses in the morning. In one
of the poses time was spent to place him somewhere other than against the blank
wall of the studio. I guess I could have finished the missing arm.

ReplyDeleteHe is sitting on the beach. It had to be that, because I have just returned from a Hayling Island beach...and your first sketch is so reminiscent of the misty landscape out across the sea to the Isle of Wight...have to say, though, rather than being nude like him, I was wrapped in layers of winter woolies! Haha
The second sketch adds weight to my story...the expression on his face is one of extreme discomfort. I think he is almost freezing to death!!
And here I was trying to place him somewhere warm, to provide relief from the cold.. Now he’s freezing☺
