Tired Yard

Tired Yard

Last Friday morning, still feeling stuffed from the day before, I sketched this while sitting on the bottom step of the back porch of the place in South Louisiana where my wife was raised.

  2. Here is a place I would so loved to have explored as a child...and that wonderful tyre-swing...I would give my eye-teeth to swing on it even now, in middle-age!!
This magnificent sketch so reminds me of my own back yard in childhood...it's like a trip down memory lane! :)

    1. We all remember the back yards we spent so much time in. I’m sure it’s been years since the swing was used.
      Thank you
