  1. Love these sketches! The first one reminds the famous clown, esp. when you put the light on his lips area...The second sketch - totally different, new story here. Ha, and the last like the potential of what could be if he would won the game....wow, Anthony, do you have a story behind these sketches?

    1. Thank you
The story mostly belongs to “R”. The costume and character are his creation as were each of the poses acted out. I was just there to sketch with a few others. He does tell a great story though, and I do like where I had the opportunity to place more than one of his poses together on the page.

  2. Ha...yes...I see the clown in the first one too!
In the second, I love the way his face and hands are the only coloured areas in an otherwise monochrome study...head and hands are intensely concentrated on the cards, willing them to come up trumps.
In the third, he is a big winner...the others look on in envy...
Oh I realize I am probably way off your intended story, but these fabulous sketches set my imaginative juices flowing...;)

    1. I think your story for the sketches of the poses “R” provided is great. I should seriously consider adding some new sketches from my head to fill any questionable voids. I’m sure there were cards hidden within his jacket sleeves☺
      Thank you

  3. oh that tension the cards playing, these fabulous characters, where you hope no one cheats, for a bullet is never far...this is so fantastic Anthony I have a special liking for the last one, but they are all sublime sketches, ah I love your sketches always, high five, or should it be high 2?

    1. Another great story for the poses “R” provided. I wish the session had run longer, with “R” posing looking the opposite direction, now maybe with maybe a handgun on the table, to make sure no one cheats☺
      Thank you
