  1. The sanguine drawings are exquisite and I love the way you've joined the two figures in the bottom one - very effective!

  3. Exquisite all of them Anthony, you have a way of drawing real people and not just beautiful people, sometimes they are sometimes they're not , but you stay true to what you see what you interpret and that's what i love the most about your huge talent, you draw as you see, and it's beautiful beyond words....

    1. I think the beauty is there in everyone I draw. The defining of beauty is more of the issue. The beauty of the young and athletic looking is promoted so much more often as “real” beauty, or the standard. Portraying the beauty found outside the standard in the rest, too often is seen as some artistic accomplishment..
Thank you though. I do love drawing people, all of them..

  4. These "seated" images are brilliant!
There is an awkward sort of shyness in the first that makes me want to hug and reassure her that she looks fabulous in her pose...while in the second, the confidence has returned: head held high, she is ready to take on any challenges that may come her way!
And as for the third and final sketch...why does "R" always appear so pensive, as if the weight of the entire world is upon his shoulders? I think, perhaps, he is a great actor...;)

    1. Thank you
Both “E” and “R” are older models even older than me☺ They have been modeling for a long time. They have the acting found in good models down. They know what most artists drawing them are looking for..

  5. I didn't explain myself properly by beautiful I meant by "Society's Standard's " and you don't fall for that crap, and truth in Natural is so much more beautiful than covered to hide all blemishes...as bilingual as i am sometimes what I write misses the mark of what I think, if you'd hear my voice you would tell me I have a French accent, and although perfectly bilingual, I don't always express what I mean, perfectly, I have never thought of any or your models as anything but beautiful, I promise
