Making Twins

Making Twins

“GE” posed for a second week this morning for the Independent Painters Group.
I was in the process of making twins.. I ran out of time.
I suppose if I wasn’t so lazy now, I could copy what I did before the pose, ended..
Or maybe it’s just too many portraits lately of “GE”?

  1. I thought ...Mark Twain...never mind....just my headaches...color is indeed provokes some agitation with twins...or bold personality of GE?

    1. It is all sort of red on red, I got carried away. Can see the agitation this could evoke☺
Don’t see the connection with Twain other than maybe resemblance.

  3. WOW I love this twins and they have very slight differences that people don't notice but you, it's so slight you almost miss it, you're a genius, never forget that dear Anthony, afraid laptop about to crash, not sure how much longer...we'll see...both are carrying backbaks but I'm sure the slightly smaller one has a lighter backpack that;'s why it's almost impossible to see lol Have a Great weekend and I HOPE it's next to a marina ;)

    1. Almost twins, If I’d finished… the back pack is the back of a yellow chair… Hope the lap top keep going..
No time for the marina yet, too many other things to do this weekend. Hope you enjoy yours..

  4. Oh no...there could never be too many portraits of "GE"...he has such an arresting face.
And these "twins" are wonderful...I love how you've made each slightly different from the other...adding weight to the appearance of two separate people...a truly amazing accomplishment!
    Very well done!! :)

(As you can see, I've managed to secure a temporary connection - by some miracle!!) ;)

    1. I do have a lot of portraits of “GE”. Not sure what to do with them all☺
Maybe I’ll finish the twin in this painting when “GE” is away long enough to start missing him..
      Thank you
Hope you are enjoying your travels..
