Ignoring, A Certain Freedom

Ignoring, A Certain Freedom

Not great sketches, but liked the theme. Some warm up poses from a session with “EL”. I wondered afterwards if this was planned?

Awake

Awake

No escape
from the music,
the silent drums,
the mumbled voices
messing up relied
upon memories
for the dreams
that allow sleep.

Went to two sessions, in two different places, one in the afternoon, the other the same night, a couple of days ago. Both models included at least one pose on their back arched over pillows, attempting a brief nap.

Partial Exposure

Partial Exposure

In the process
of removing
her black dress,
still in boots,
a decision evolved,
resulting in
partial exposure
upon her prepared
pedestal.

Sketched last night at a session with this model in a black dress and boots. For most poses she removed the dress, and sometimes the boots.

More Enjoyable for Me Than You

More Enjoyable for Me Than You

Yes, I must acknowledge these fifteen minute sketches of “EL” were probably more enjoyable for me, drawing her, than for your review here of the sketches. But that’s just the way it is.
I enjoyed sketching her last night in a pub here in Edinburgh.

Okay he was just posing on the floor, this bearded model just below where I was viewing him from a chair.
