In An Obscure Corner

In An Obscure Corner

From a seat in the corner,
obscure and far away,
he spends much of his time
these days
in a darkness figuring
how to be ignored.

Sketched him in this seat, not in a corner, but in the middle of a room behind a yellow door. From a session attended yesterday with this model I’ve drawn a couple of times before.

12”x 16” ink, oil sanguine and chalk on craft paper.
