Weathering
An Imaginary Storm
“P”
posed as a field worker wearing a floppy green hat intended to block out an
imaginary hot sun. He held his signature scythe to harvest imaginary wheat in
an imaginary field surrounding him. I’ve sketched him posing with it many times
before.
As
I sketched an imaginary storm slowly emerged. I started seeing an imaginary wheel
rather than the scythe. And his hat only needed a slight color change to
complement a face intended to be on an imaginary stormy sea.
Sketched
in a costume figure session with “P” yesterday afternoon.
