Valour and Cowardice

Another favorite sculpture at the Victoria and Albert Museum by Alfred Stevens. I finally attempted sketching it.

    So glad you decided to sketch this one...it is magnificent!
    "Valour and Cowardice"...another duality we all carry in our psyches...deeply felt...of the human condition.

      I find it so interesting. The figure depicting valour is somehow more fragile and smaller than the larger figure depicting cowardice below.
