I like this one even more too...oh wow... that glorious golden hair! There is such a strong sense of presence in this wonderful painting, although in her mind she seems far away...as if reliving an uncomfortable memory...?
Thank you. I am sometimes surprised how attempts from one week to the next change as I get to know the model. I must admit the watercolor version for me is a more accurate portrait overall. I think she was more comfortable, the second week.
Love this one more, lots of vibrancy and emotions in everything but her...
