Morning Gestures

Morning Gestures

Energy expended between moments of silence,
a dance played out in a vacuum,
crowded by too much of you.
Conversations that may/will never happen,
the insignificant fears,
deciding if or not
to endure,
as if there was a choice.

Mornings do start this way. Some recent gesture poses from sessions with “V” and “R”
Both: 24”x 18” ebony graphite

This morning I painted with the Independent Painters Group. This was my attempt in watercolor of “SH” in a pose she will be in next week too. Next week will be attempted in acrylic.
