Loading and Waving Good Bye

Loading and Waving Good Bye

Village on a bay near the islands, long before we existed. A place visited often these days.
Sketches from a while ago. Just wanted to be there today.

Wrinkled

Wrinkled

Left alone in the corner
of the crowded room
waiting to be introduced
to the propaganda.
Something to do with
allusive sightings
of light.

Sketched a while ago in a session with this model who expressed so much without saying any words.

Return To Old Places

Return To Old Places

Haven’t seen “R” in a while. He was posing yesterday in a costume I painted him in, in March of last year. A session I remember well.

Looking the Same

Looking the Same

Had a chance to draw “M”, The Queen, today for the first time since returning to the States. She seems to be doing fine, and looking much the same as she looked the first time I sketched her back in 2009. I wonder if she noticed how much I have aged, as she continues to look exactly the same?
