Looking Straight On
How delusional I became,
thinking she was feeling
every stare,
visualizing
every line.
Wondering if she might look,
fearing she may ruin
the creative
moment
being shared.
Fearing what might happen
the old artists fantasy,
unknowingly ruined
looking
straight on.
Sketched yesterday in the middle
of the day, in a session where they prefer you don’t wear shoes.
The model didn’t look, until almost
the end.

wrapping paper
