from a discarded couch,

separated by her robe

in an effort to ignore

an assumed history.

Artificial light isolates

her in the studio

as old artists draw

another last pose

of the day,

documenting the old

ratty cushions

ignored history.

Over the weekend in a session with “SR”.

Last pose of the session.

Last session for a while. The local art center will be closed for at least the rest of the month in an effort to isolate (they say protect) us old artists from the rest of the world.

Feeling a bit like the cushions…
