On the Rocks

On the Rocks

Contemplating life,
safe
from mainland morals,
lost conveniently
on an islands
deserted shore.

Another sketch of “RS” yesterday, posing on a stage of stools and pillows covered by blankets.
24”x 18” ebony graphite and pastel on colored paper

  1. Wow...so powerfully evocative...how often do we long to do just that...lose ourselves conveniently, far away from all those impossible-to-live-up-to morals heaped upon us by society?
I love this sketch itself too...the detail, the way the light highlights his muscle tone...oh there is so much LIFE in these beautiful strokes of graphite and pastel.
You really are more magician than artist, Anthony.
    Wow...such talent!! :)
