Age
of Innocence
Another
sketch from Yesterday at the Victoria and Albert Museum. After being in London
for almost a week, I went to sketch my favorite sculpture: Peasant Woman
Nursing Baby (see previous post). The sculpture of this child was across the
way watching me draw. With still time before meeting the wife for lunch, I
sketched her too.
The
sculpture: Age of Innocence, dated 1879 is by Alfred Drury.
