Others Manage to Escape
Others manage
to escape.
Some don’t.
Others invent,
pretend they can’t
be hurt.
Some know
pretending is only
temporary relief.
These sketches are of two
different models from different drawing session I attended so far this week.
Yesterday, “AN” escaped into a temporary nap. A few days before, “KT” might have
too, if she’d arranged the pillows below the blanket in a similar way. Maybe
not.
