I find myself

thinking up stories

for the dramas

that aren’t

really

taking place.

I’m sort of stingy, maybe cheap, maybe just pretending to be environmental, wasting too many sheets of paper per pose, at some of the drawing sessions I have been attending with too many short one to five minute warm up poses insisted on, before the longer poses. They aren’t long enough to get more than a few gesture strokes down, not enough time to justify more than a single sheet.
