Holding Court



Holding Court

A comfortable place to be
or so it seemed.
Overseeing conversations
from her throne.
Like a statue
concealing answers
from the visitors
that no longer appear.


Had the chance yesterday in a session to sketch “RS” in a familiar pose. I tried to recall the room I had placed her in, in previous sessions with her.

    There is an unmistakably regal aura about her...not just the pose, but the entire package.
    Indeed, she strongly reminds me of our Queen Elizabeth in her younger days.
