Could have been revealed.
Even understood.
Only at the moment though,
in another time.
Back when truth was defended.
When truth wasn’t ignored.

    So touchingly profound...yes, it does seem like the truth is no longer valued...from the political hierarchy, down to the man in the street.
    Your words, and her expression - even her pose itself - conveys this sad fact so eloquently.
