Temporary

Temporary

There are so few places left, and they are now only temporary, waiting to be invaded too. For years now I watch them disappear, devoured by those like me, and the crowd, just behind.

Within

Within

I had them escape
After I invented them
Finding their way back
Back to where they claimed
They were from

Decided I belonged
With them
Them from within
So here I am now
Searching with these lines

Drawing the entrance
Filling it with ink
Foolishly pretending
I too can escape

Islands off solitude

"ST" on a Beach

“ST” on a Beach
It was snowing and blowing and cold outside the studio and getting later into the evening when he sat on the modeling stage in the glow a stage light bulb. But he posed long enough to sketch him, with time to place him somewhere else.

This second sketch of “ST” was earlier in the evening, before I decided he belonged somewhere else.
