There
are so few places left, and they are now only temporary, waiting to be invaded
too. For years now I watch them disappear, devoured by those like me, and the
crowd, just behind.
Stunning and hurtful, my little town that I moved to from Montreal a long time ago was stunning lakes, trees, gardens, forests trails such incredible beauty torn down for condos I hate this town, and I know it doesn't matter where I go it's all the same...Greed is one of worst sins, and killing our earth that is the consequence...Somewhere somehow we will all have to do something and stick together or we will run out of oxygen...there has to be a way, and i sure as hell don't know what
oh i have a sketch today on my art stuff...or whatever it's called but my profile will tellyou if you feel like checking it out, warning ahead too many people
Yes...stunning places like this were once abundant...but now those few that remain are disappearing much too quickly. Oh to linger here indefinitely...to set up a shroud of invisibility...a shield against all those prying eyes!
They continue to be encroached upon. I used to think there were places I couldn’t be found. Those days are gone. Any sense such a place has been found is only temporary.
The sketches, paintings and sometimes the writing I post on this site express what needs to be known about me. I attempt to record on a daily basis what I observe, what I imagine, and sometimes what I dream about.
I hope you enjoy my art, and the dialogue.

ReplyDeleteIt’s happened and continues to happen in so many places. I’m still searching though for a place less temporary.
