A Few More of "M"





A few More of “M”
A couple of sketches of the short practice poses “M” provided prior to the longer poses for the paintings posted previously.
They are more exciting for me than the poses I ended up painting from.

    Bonjour cher Anthony,
    Très souvent les esquisses croquées rapidement sont excellentes. Elles ne demandent plus qu'à s'affiner. Mais l'essentiel des émotions soufflées par le modèle est transposé... J'aime beaucoup ces deux poses. Vos lignes m'interpellent toujours agréablement.

      I have to agree. The short poses lead to sketches that end before they can be damaged by what is left to be shown.

    She is a fabulous model, isn't she?
    So relaxed and laid back...and your ink sketches convey that inner confidence with such ease.

      She really is a great model.. She has more years experience than she is willing to admit. I have seen other artists paintings of her when she was much younger. The beautiful poses haven’t changed.

    She has no hesitation, no doubt, her body moves the way you want to draw...how exceptional
