Possible
Story
This
morning “SA” modeled for the drop in life drawing session I oversee on Saturday
mornings. She did some great poses. Included here are my sketches of two that sort
of fit together.
They
could be telling a story, though in the first I should have drawn a martini
glass sitting on the bar. A little history before the first image would be
helpful, but not crucial. What happens between the two images is where the
story flows, all the way to the obvious ending.
Both:
sanguine on 18”x 24” paper
I think maybe that martini glass was filled a few too many times...can she remember what happened next?
ReplyDeleteHas she loved and lost...or is she simply sleeping it off in the morning sunshine?
You have almost told the story. A decision is now all that’s missing. Is she lost? Is she sleeping it off?
DeleteThank you
Waiting for someone who never shows up is possibly the most tiring event...maybe she waited too long, I want to lie down like her, I'm not waiting anymore
ReplyDeleteIf waiting, I wonder why she wouldn’t remain at the bar. She either is giving up, or lost hope along the way.. I would wait anymore either☺
DeleteVery beautiful, I like both of them! The shade on her legs and back is lovely.
ReplyDeleteThank you
