Parking

Parking

On a street in Paris last month. The two women sharing the street, both well into their mornings, intrigued me. Of course paying for parking attacked more attention than walking a dog.

The Listener

The Listener

The street violinist had an audience. I noticed them both when in Paris for a few days last month.
The sculpture is of a writer and philosopher, Denis Diderot, across from Church St. Germain des Pres. The date noted is 1884.
I wonder how many other musicians have played below for him?

Skylight

Skylight

Looked like her
A character in a play
For a while
Then more lines
Becoming someone else
A character on a page
Not seen before
While struggling
Looking for her

Sketch from photos of one of the plays I saw while in London. I saw so many plays, so many actors being someone else.

Caught

Caught

The sketch is from a reference photo. She caught me. This happens sometimes. I pretended I was photographing the crowd behind. The sloped seating is on the plaza between the Thames and the National Theatre, a good place to watch the crowd, when early for a play.
Another from my visit to London last month.
