The
Listener
The
street violinist had an audience. I noticed them both when in Paris for a few
days last month.
The
sculpture is of a writer and philosopher, Denis Diderot, across from Church St.
Germain des Pres. The date noted is 1884.
I
wonder how many other musicians have played below for him?
9”x
12” fountain pen and chalk and oil sanguine on toned grey paper.
Fantastic, Anthony oh I love this art of yours, and I'll follow you wherever you go, just let me know if you go ok?

ReplyDeleteWhen I saw them together, I knew I’d want to do at least the sketch.
DeleteThank you
How wonderful that you captured this...the listener the musician may or may not be aware of.
ReplyDeleteOh this is simply fabulous! :)
It was a moment waiting to be documented. I’m pretty sure the musician plays there often, never realizing who is listening.
DeleteThank you
I could use right now.... :)
