Balance

Another sketch from the courtyard of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, at lunchtime on a very warm day. They could have been anywhere, looking at little screens instead of the wonders around them.

    Lost my comment....trying again ...they seemed for me playing cards, but then I noticed - no connection...maybe reading books or checking messages...with very warm weather the sketch close to the impression type..

      The small screens have replaced the books, the cards, being in the moment. I do understand though finding the sun and enjoying the warmth.

    As I was saying...why DO people do that?
    It seems these tiny screens have taken over the World.
    Human contact has been replaced by something virtual...
    I so want to snatch their phones, drag them to their feet and force them to dance with each other...perhaps a subconscious desire to experience first hand what a black eye feels like! Haha:D

    I really love this sketch...it is so powerful...:)

      I’m smiling.. The small screens consume. They would hardly notice much less darken your eye. They would just go back to the small glowing lights.
