North
Sea Village
I
was in another village harbor, on a break wall seeing the village we had just
passed through, not so far away. Most have an ancient church spire and the
ruins of some form of castle or fortress peaking through to the horizon. This
one had a windmill too.
This
is from earlier this summer somewhere along the North Sea coast between
Edinburgh and St. Andrews.

DeleteLovely. The windmill adds such a quaint touch. It's a beautiful area which you'd done justice to.
ReplyDeleteThe windmill was what captured my attention first to this view.

I love the way you use ink and watercolor. Not too much ink, not too much watercolor. Just perfect!
ReplyDeleteIt’s a balancing act each time.
