Yes...there is a sadness here. I can feel it in the pose of the figure in the foreground. It is almost as if she has personally glimpsed the void. Tantalisingly atmospheric, Anthony. I love it!:)
Emotions are real and painful and there is no way out and I feel for her and for them, thus is your ability Anthony, you draw how I feel 90% of the times and that makes me wonder if my interpretation are always about me feeling, my vision of your art-heart
Emotions we feel are played out in in everything we view, images, drawn, photographed, expressed in words. Caring, grief, denial… I’m sure there are more. I started seeing these as I continued to draw. Thank you
The sketches, paintings and sometimes the writing I post on this site express what needs to be known about me. I attempt to record on a daily basis what I observe, what I imagine, and sometimes what I dream about.
I hope you enjoy my art, and the dialogue.

There is a tenderness between the two figures, but the third just seems to be watching...detached from their emotions.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful drawing, Anthony and words~~~
I think all three are caught up in the same grief. Each handle differently.
