Morning Sketches


Yesterday morning started the way I wish every morning did, in a studio doing sketches of a wonderful model.
A couple of sketches of “B”, from yesterday’s session.
1st: 14”x 18” ebony graphite
2nd: 18"x 24" ebony graphite, chalk and sanguine on toned paper

    Je comprends que vous disiez que ce modèle est merveilleux. Il l'est !
    J'aime également beaucoup son regard. Je le retrouve dans ces deux magnifiques dessins.
    Elle a une allure élégante et une aisance spontanée.

      She is a favorite of mine as well as others I draw with. This means she models often.

    Yes, the low morning light brings out the best in "B's" stunning contours.
    I'm sure she would be beautiful in any light...but here, she looks exceptionally gorgeous and Goddess-like.
    Oh Anthony...these sketches are truly phenomenal! :))
