Temporary Relief

Escaping to the islands,
a temporary relief.
The yearning continues,
after
perceiving an island
even more remote.



Took a short break yesterday, realizing only temporary relief.

      The break was from the ink illustrations I have spent much of the summer working on. I took some scrap pieces of matt board and did a few unrelated sketches with some color.

    Relief, for the adventurous spirit, can never be more than temporary, can it?!
    The distant Island is drawing me too...and already I am wondering what lies waiting to be discovered beyond that...:)
