Slightly Melted


Some poses accentuate gravity, or maybe just how I interpret such poses. Recent sketches from sessions with “ES” and “BA”.

Both: 18”x 24” ebony graphite and chalk on craft paper.

    Absolutely spot-on...I see it too...the "melting" aspect...gravity really does appear to be pulling them earthwards, doesn't it?!
    The impression of ice sculptures slowly melting comes to mind...but then the wonderful detail of each makes them far too alive to be carved from ice...too warm and living!

      What I saw too in the poses, in the models. Gravity sometimes is difficult to hide.
