Another Island Beach of Rocks,
Grass and Sand
Amazed how insignificant
my presence was,
or needed to be.
Happily ignored.
Maybe invisible.
Just a remote
detail.
Maybe pretending
to not very,
actually
even be.
Another sketch from our visit to
the Outer Hebrides, on the Isle of Lewis last week.
Another beach with grass and
rocks and sand, viewed on another walk interrupted by bursts of wind blown mist
and rain, almost as enjoyable as bursts of sunshine, anywhere else.
10”x 7” ink and watercolor
Wonderful...I wish to find the 'bursts of wind blown mist and rain' in the poem ... blissss!
