Cornered in the Shadows
Waiting in a corner
within shadows
hiding too many doubts.
Looking for a long
overdue glorious
morning sun.
And it will have to be
glorious
to murder the darkness
in this room,
they still
pretend to share.
Sketched in yesterday’s session.
I really enjoyed scribbling out
these lines in a very limited amount of time. Especially liked working out her
face as she posed set back almost in the corner, sort of hiding within a very limited
light.
