Facing Orange Inspired By Gaudi
The sketch is based on a number
of reference photos from a visit to Barcelona a month ago. There isn’t actually
a photo of the two of us together within Sangrada Familia. Even the orange
light glowing through the south facing stained glass didn’t capture us together
for posterity. And she wasn’t even wearing green. It just seemed to go with the
blues and greens in the stained glass on the north side of Antonio Gaudi’s
wonderful space. And of course we are actually both much younger and thinner than
how I portrayed us here.
